In the past, there were three parishes, three belfries, three churches: St. Martin, St. Michael, St. Anton. Tarčani, Vabrižani and the inhabitants of the surrounding settlements (Perci, Grdići, Rošini) skillfully chose a place for their existence.
It is a fertile plateau (112 meters above sea level), which from the southwest gently descends towards the sun and the sea, and from the north it stops steeply towards the mouth of the river Mirna. It is a beautiful viewpoint: Novigrad to the north, and Poreč to the south....
