Caska is located on the western part of Paška uvala in the immediate vicinity of Novalja. On the territory of this small place with a rich history, Cissa, a Roman city, was once located, which, according to historians, sank in the 4th century due to an earthquake.
There are only a few houses in Caska Bay today, but there is a sunken city on its seabed. Remains of buildings can be found by diving, but most of the sunken city is inaccessible to view due to large deposits of mud, sand and sea grass. Of historical interest, the old tower (Tunera), the tuna observatory and the remains of the Romanesque church of St. Juja on the hill above Caska with many early medieval and early Christian spolia.
